Dear Carole,

(And everyone else tuning in.) Life is great. Spring has sprung and the yard has been calling! We've been finishing up our chicken coop and run so we can get some little chickadees. Boys are running crazy until we force them to come in. Trees are blossoming and spring green is shooting up everywhere we turn!

Jonah has a new favorite place. How easy are swings hanging from a tree? I'll tell you. Super easy. And they provide hours of entertaining. (Please adjust you head accordingly. Sometimes I really hate blogger.)

Indiana Hyrum turned three just two short weeks after me. The boys had a little adventure to find the "treasure." This picture doesn't do the cake justice. It's a map, complete with pixie sticks, nerds, and graham cracker crumbs. Take note, blue pixie stick sugar does not taste good on chocolate cake. Remember the bitter beer face? We had plenty of looks like that...

Daddy took the boys on another treasure hunt one day. All over our acre of a yard. They had so much fun. What a great daddy!

Sterling is quite the helper. He's been out working in the yard whenever anyone else is. Good thing he helps outside, because you'd never believe he did anything if you saw the boys' room...

An ugly spot of our yard has been tranformed. Amazing what a little bark can do. A little color will make it perfect.

In case you were missing a pew in you building on Sunday, don't come looking at my house! I threw a baby shower here Saturday and needed extra seating. My parents just happened to have two disassemble pews in their basement that I borrowed. It's a looooong term loan. I forgot to take baby shower pics which I'm really bummed about because, in my humble opinion, the decorations were adorable! And the invitations. Oh, well.

The black balloons were leftover from Brandon's 30th birthday! That was a lot of fun. Again, I forgot to take pics. Shame on me!

I did take a pic of the centerpiece for his birthday dinner. There was a black tablecloth, too. Not that I think 30 is old by any means, but it was fun to mourn with him. I used this glassware for a decoration for the shower, too. The prizes were in the cake plate, the trifle dish was full of washcloth roses, and the urn held baby blankets. I also hung the boys blessing outfits from a string. Man, I wish I had taken pictures.

So, dear Carole thanks for the kind reminder I am slacking. ("Oh my heck lady! Where's an update?!') I would like you to know that my blogging probably will be a little less frequent. Brandon and I took an inventory of our idle time on the computer and between blogs I read that have nothing to do with anyone I know and his Farmville, there was a lot of time that could be very much better spent. We're reigning that it. I'll still be here, just not every day. I still love you and will check in frequently.

After all, I wouldn't be out here in the great blogging world if I didn't enjoy reading about all your galavantings so much.

Until another day,
All my love,
Sarah

Thank you! I appreciate it. I'm so glad to find that you're still ALIVE! I made a big deal over Chad turning 30...you're not in your 20's anymore. You're middle age. I can say all this even though I'm not 30 yet and I'm sure when the day comes (which won't be for another 2 3/4 years)I'll be absolutely mortified.

Lou plays Farmville, too - what a timewaster! I hate it, but I try not to nag him about it. But I hear you, I'm trying to cut back on my computer time, too...
